But nine years ago, Demaryius Thomas, the Broncos’ star wide receiver about to enter free agency, was in their position. The West Laurens High product was ranked No. 58 among receivers in 2006, , and chose Georgia Tech over Duke, Georgia, South Carolina and other schools.
