Re: “Climate change efforts will cost you,” Feb. 12 Cass R. Sunstein column.
Conventional wisdom, and Cass R. Stunstein, would have us believe that tackling climate change would be bad for our pocketbooks and bad for the economy. There are many companies and individuals across the globe that have proven this is untrue.
Unilever, the food company with hundreds of facilities across 67 countries, has recently eliminated its waste. By establishing the processes needed to do this, Unilever has created jobs and saved money.
This and many, many other examples tell me that tackling climate change can and will be a net positive to our pocketbooks and the economy.
