A woman’s car was stolen at knifepoint Monday in Jefferson County.
The incident happened about 12:15 p.m. in the 3600 block of South Pierce Street, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim was walking toward her car when a man, dressed in a black-hooded jacket and black pants, threatened her and then stole her Nissan Altima.
The woman was not injured.
The carjacker fled and police are looking for him.
