A southbound light-rail train was involved in an accident with a car Tuesday afternoon on the south edge of downtown Denver.

Television helicopter video showed the train stalled, blocking Speer Boulevard on Stout Street at about 5:10 p.m.

RTD said on Twitter that the D, F and H trains were all being diverted to Union Station.

The accident and detour was cleared shortly before 6 p.m., RTD said, although ongoing delays were expected.

A police spokeswoman said no one was injured in the incident.

Last week, a 41-year-old man was killed by a northbound train that came to a halt near 14th and California streets.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
