One person was seriously injured Tuesday morning in an accident at a construction site in Denver’s River North district.
The Denver Fire Department said the crash happened around 8:45 a.m. at Wazee and 36th streets. The driver of a Ford pickup truck crashed into a pile of construction materials while making a right turn onto 36th, police said.
Fire officials said one person was taken to a hospital. That person’s condition and identity were not immediately known.
Denver police are investigating the crash.
