1 Parents brawl at Chuck E. Cheese’s. A child’s Jan. 24 birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese’s, 9301 W. 58th Ave., Arvada, ended when his parents began arguing and fighting over a car seat in the parking lot. The kid’s mom punched the car windshield and was cited for criminal mischief.
2 Man arrested after trying to dupe police. Police arrested a man who left home after fighting with his girlfriend in the 10900 block of West 64th Place in Arvada on Jan. 25. He told police he would meet them at the station, but lied.
3 Man with heroin urinates in parking lot. An intoxicated man carrying a backpack full of booze and heroin-filled syringes was arrested Jan. 25 after urinating in the parking lot of Chick-fil-A, 5236 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada.
4 Mystery driver eludes police. Witnesses at King Soopers, 6350 Sheridan Blvd., Arvada, called police Jan. 27 to say the driver of a Dodge Durango cut through multiple lanes of traffic, jumped a curb and was found convulsing and bleeding from a possible seizure. The driver eluded the officers.
