1 Drunk woman asks for “cute” officer. On Feb. 10, a woman was cited for drunkenly calling 911 more than eight times with various complaints, each time requesting a “cute and intelligent officer” to respond. This had been an ongoing problem with the suspect. An officer responded to the 2700 block of West 52nd Avenue and told the woman to stop calling 911 unless it’s a real emergency.

2 Assault at Best Buy. A man was arrested Feb. 9 after attempting to assault an employee at Best Buy, 4100 E. Mexico Ave. Denver police responded and learned that the suspect became upset when employees were unable to fix his phone. The suspect was being escorted out when he tried to punch the man.

3 Undercover cop makes pot bust. On Feb. 4, a Denver police officer arrested a marijuana dealer while undercover. The officer met the arrestee in the 500 block of Sheridan Boulevard. When the officer got into the car and confirmed the deal, he made the “bust signal” and the two suspects were placed into custody.

4 Fraud run ends at Apple store. On Feb. 7, a man was arrested for trying to buy a computer with a fake ID and credit card at the Apple store at the Cherry Creek Mall, 3000 E. First Ave. The man was detained and admitted that he had a different identity.

5 If it’s too loud, turn it down. A driver was cited Feb. 8 for noise by a Denver police officer who could hear his loud music and exhaust system more than 25 feet away in the 3000 block of West Iowa Avenue. When the officer was processing information, the driver turned the music back up.
