1 Mom breaks into home. On Feb. 1, a man and woman were found trespassing in the 1400 block of Ulysses St., Golden. A neighbor reported a possible break-in, and when police arrived, they met a man and woman who said they had permission to be there. Police phoned the home’s primary resident, who was out of town. She said the woman was her mother and did not have permission to be there.
2 Rumble at the Rose. On Feb. 1, Golden police reported to the Buffalo Rose, 1119 Washington Ave., where security guards said a man tried to return to the bar after being kicked out for fighting. He even tried to change clothes to concile his identity. The man said was trying to get in to tell his friends he was leaving. He later alleged the security guards assaulted him.
3 Man fears ex in pink hoodie. A resident of the 1600 block of Utah St., Golden, reported to Golden police that his ex-wife was seen sitting in her car wearing a pink hoodie near his home. He said she had assaulted him in the past and he feared she may do so again. Police found no crime or harassment.
4 Tent removed from Fillius Park. Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies received a report of a tent and evidence of a campfire in Fillius Park in Evergreen sometime in February. They located and removed the tent, which was in violation of park rules, but did not locate a suspect.
5 Cable cut on Super Bowl Sunday. An Evergreen resident filed a report that her cable was cut sometime on Feb. 1. She suspected her ex-husband, but when contacted, he said he was out of town skiing that day. (No address provided.)
