A couple of cousins got the chance the see who would get bragging rights at the next family gathering during the Colorado state wrestling tournament Friday at the Pepsi Center.

Air Academy senior Peter Tyler Hanenberg and Canon City freshman Zack Hanenberg faced-off in their 4A 132-pound semifinal match.

The older Hanenberg won via decision 7-0.

The cousins never wrestled before Friday, according to Brandon Hopper of the Canon City Daily Record.

Tigers freshman Zac and Air Academy Kadets senior, Tyler, have never wrestled each other. Both highly competitive — with a close relationship — they’ve never even practiced hard against each other.
