Former Arvada West Wildcat Morgan McCormick, now swimming for San Jose State University as a freshman, recently set a school record in the 200-meter individual medley at the 2015 Mountain West Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships in San Antonio, Texas.
McCormick, who graduated in 2014, recorded a time of 2 minutes, 0.41 seconds in a qualifying heat and also posted an NCAA Championship B cut mark in the process.
She later finished seventh in the final.
