A man registered as a sex offender in Florida was arrested in Colorado Springs last week on suspicion of sexually assaulting a child, police said Wednesday.
Investigators say they are concerned the man could have more victims.
Raymond Jason Hood, 43, of Colorado Springs, was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, police said. Detectives began investigating Hood last year before his arrest on March 4.
Hood is a registered sex offender in Florida for offenses against a child stemming from a 1991 case, police said.
Police said they cannot release details in the case.
Hood is being held at the El Paso County jail in lieu of a total of $150,000 bond, records show.
