Aurora police have released the names of three people involved in a double-fatal car crash early Tuesday.
near the intersection of Tower Road and East 22nd Avenue. Police say Joshua Lee Calhoun, 28, of Denver, was driving a GMC Yukon Denali northbound on Tower Road when he rear-ended a Ford Escort before crossing into oncoming traffic and slamming into a Ford F150 pickup truck.
The driver of the Escort, Stephanie M. Windsor, 34, of Denver; and the driver of the Yukon, Michael L. Ingman, 58, of Edgewater, both died at the scene.
Calhoun was hospitalized and has since been released, police said Friday in a news release.
He faces of charges of vehicular homicide and driving under the influence.
