Human remains were found Sunday on a bluff near the East-West Regional Trail near Lone Tree, officials said.
Lone Tree city spokeswoman Kristen Knoll said that the remains are believed to be of a man who went missing in June 2014, but the body has yet to be officially identified.
The Lone Tree Police are working with the Douglas County Coroner to investigate the case and identify the body.
