A Denver Police Department officer has been injured in a car wreck on Central Park Boulevard near I-70.
The officer has been taken to a hospital by ambulance, according to the department’s Twitter account.
The officer was rushing with lights and sirens to when the two-vehicle accident happened. The officer and the other driver were both taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
