Denver firefighters battled an apartment fire Sunday evening that damaged several units, officials said.

Denver Fire spokeswoman Melissa Taylor said multiple crews responded to a “fully involved structure fire” involving two units at 9053 E. Oxford St. near Interstate 225 and Yosemite Street.

Two units are damaged extensively, Taylor said, with damage to at least four units.

The fire continued to burn around 5:30 p.m., but Taylor said crews were getting it under control.

No injuries have been reported, Taylor said.

Taylor said it will be hours before the cause of the fire is determined.
