Skip Noe is meeting with the Aurora mayor, councilmembers and others at 4 p.m. today. We’re told several outcomes are possible, from his staying in his current job to leaving city government altogether.
Several councilwomen have been unhappy with Noe for yelling at them and being condescending, something they say he doesn’t do with males. The women tried for a no confidence vote last January but it failed. This will be the second closed-door meeting by the council in recent weeks.
Colorado lawmakers are working on new laws to try to reduce the number of state tests given each year to Colorado students. The current assessment tests are mandatory.
The issue of how students are tested and how teachers are evaluated is one of the most important topics in this year’s legislative session. , even as Democrats and Republicans strongly oppose testing for different reasons.
