1 Terrible hospital guest. A nurse at North Suburban Medical Center at 9191 Grant St., Thornton, called police about an unruly visitor March 19. The suspect was lying in a hospital bed with her friend, and the nurse asked her to move so she could start an IV drip. The woman began lashing out and fighting with security guards, so she was arrested.

2 Brawling over bad decisions. A man punched his drunken friend in the face March 16 because his friend was threatening to rob a random person at Pioneer Park at 5902 Holly St., Commerce City. Police were called when the two started fighting. They were both cited.

3 Didn’t think you were home. A man was arrested March 18 for kicking in his sister’s front door in the 8800 block of Colorado Boulevard, Thornton. The suspect broke the door, saw his sister standing inside and said he didn’t think she would be home. He left immediately, but police found him.

4 Nimble thieves. A man who lives in the 1700 block of West 85th Avenue, Federal Heights, went to the police station Feb. 26 to report that someone scaled his second-level balcony and stole his mountain bike.

5 Waiting room nap. Employees at the Comfort Dental at 10350 N. Federal Blvd., Federal Heights, called police because a man had been sleeping in the waiting room all day. Police found an empty bottle of whiskey in his coat.

6 Trash attack. A man who lives in the 2500 block of East 104th Avenue, Thornton, called police because his neighbor’s dog bit his ankle while he was taking out the garbage March 19. The owner was cited.
