1 Skateboarder jumped, must remove pants. A man called Denver police on March 23 after he was jumped by five other men while riding a skateboard in the 700 block of South Federal Boulevard. The victim was punched repeatedly. He was then ordered at gunpoint to lie on the ground and remove his pants.

2 Suspect doesn’t want to leave hospital. On March 18, a man was arrested after refusing to leave Denver Health, 777 Bannock St., and assaulting a guard. The suspect was discharged from the hospital but fought with a security guard when being escorted out. He kicked the guard and attempted to bite him.

3 Dine and dash at Denny’s. On March 22, the manager at Denny’s, 900 W. Alameda Ave., called Denver police after a group of 10 suspects ran out of the restaurant without paying a $60 bill. The manager gave descriptions of the suspects and recorded license plates of two vehicles.

4 Man run over by girlfriend. A man called Denver police March 20 after his girlfriend attempted to run him over in the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Street. The victim said he was trying to prevent his girlfriend from leaving a coffee shop because she was drunk. He stood in front of the car, but she pulled forward, causing him to roll up on the hood.

5 Habitual panhandler cited. A woman was cited for panhandling by Denver police March 19 near the intersection of South Santa Fe Drive and West Alameda Avenue. The suspect told police she did not know she could not panhandle on a median. She had two prior tickets for panhandling on medians.
