1 Real mature. A man living in the 8800 block of Tuscany Lane, Highlands Ranch, reported finding his car vandalized at about 10 a.m. March 22. Police discovered the car had been marked with some kind of pink pen, covered in stickers and had wooden letters spelling out “SEX” glued to the roof.

2 Creep tracks. A man reported that his wife came home to their house in the 10000 block of South Spotted Owl Avenue, Highlands Ranch, at 12:30 p.m. March 25 to find footprints in the snow that he was sure were not there at 10:22 a.m. Police tracked the prints from the front walkway, around the house, through an unlocked gate and up to the back door, as well as near two rear windows.

3 Pushy power player. The owner of a gym located at 9559 S. University Blvd., Highlands Ranch, said a man claiming to be with Xcel Energy called her business March 21 and said the power would be shut off unless she paid an $879 balance on her account. She bought a pre-paid card and read the codes to the man on the phone. She later realized it was a scam.

4 Low, low, low. Staffers at Parker Adventist Hospital, 9395 Crown Crest Blvd., reported that several cellphones were stolen from the intensive care unit March 20. One victim said her phone disappeared from her work station between 11:30 a.m. and noon.

5Expensive trip. A woman reported her purse was stolen from Safeway,11051 S. Parker Road, Parker, on March 19. She was unsure if it was taken when she was inside shopping or in the parking lot.
