1 Aggressive night at motel. Police responded to A & D Motel, 11891 W. Colfax Ave., Lakewood, on March 20 regarding a domestic violence incident. A man and woman had been drinking heavily, and both had cuts and marks on their arms and faces from fighting. Both gave conflicting statements, but based on the injuries, officers arrested the woman.

2 Loose dog. On March 18, a dog owner in the 1600 block of South Garrison Street in Lakewood was issued a warning for a dog on the loose. A man said he was jogging in the area when the dog left the property and began chasing and growling at him.

3 Just three beers. A 21-year-old woman was cited for DUI on March 20 in the area of Sheridan Boulevard and West 10th Avenue, Lakewood. She said she had three Bud Lights earlier and felt fine to drive. She failed roadside maneuvers and was released to her grandmother.

4 Motel window smashed. Lakewood police responded to Big Bunny Motel, 6218 W. Colfax Ave., on March 18 regarding a disturbance. The motel owner said he witnessed someone breaking the window to one of the rooms then fleeing in a vehicle. The window was valued at $100.

5 Acura stolen. Sometime between March 26 and March 29, a 1992 Acura Integra was stolen from an apartment parking lot in the 2600 block of Kendall Street in Edgewater.

6 Bad driver. Edgewater police arrested a motorist March 16 for multiple traffic violations in the area of West 22nd Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard. Offenses included DUI, failing to stop at a stop sign and no insurance.
