Police in Denver arrested a 15-year-old girl early Saturday on suspicion of robbing a fast-food delivery driver.

The alleged robbery happened when the driver went to deliver food to a home in the 3300 block of Glencoe Street and was approached by four females, police said in a Facebook post Thursday.

Authorities say the 15-year-old girl, who was part of the group, “flourished a weapon” at the driver and demanded money.

The driver fled and reported the robbery to authorities. Officers went to the home, where the girl was identified as the suspect and arrested, according to the police post.

Police did not release the girl’s identity.

FOWLER —

Firefighters work to finish off blaze

Wind gusts up to 60 mph were hampering firefighters as they battled Thursday night to keep control of the remaining pockets of fire inside a 130-acre wildfire in southern Colorado.

The fire outside the town of Fowler, about 40 miles east of Pueblo, was 75 percent contained Thursday.

La Junta Fire Chief Aaron Eveatt said over 30 firefighters were working on the hot spots. The fire was started Wednesday by residual fire from a private, controlled burn on Tuesday that wasn’t completely extinguished.
