Lakewood authorities are searching for a missing 57-year-old man with developmental disabilities who walked away from a care facility on Wednesday night.
Donald Robert Scharf was last seen at about 5 p.m. in Lakewood and was headed in an unknown direction, police say. Authorities believe he may be using RTD’s light-rail system.
Scharf takes medications but does not have them with him, police say.
Scharf was last seen wearing a red T-shirt with white letters, dark blue jeans and boots. He has gray hair, blue eyes and is 5-foot, 5-inches tall.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police.
