Getting your player ready...

ESPN missed the boat and decided to go “Plan B” and implement K-Zone Live for every pitch for all its Major League Baseball coverage in 2015. The live pitch-tracking graphic that is shown over the plate has upset baseball fans.

Fans, media members and baseball purists jumped on the interwebs to tweet out their displeasure with ESPN’s K-Zone.

It only makes sense in video games, ESPN. Also your “new toy” K-zone isn’t new. This game is from 1997.

Waited 5 month 4 , just for it to be ruined by . Could be my first and last Sunday night game of the season.

— Chris Thompson (@Chris_Thompson1)

keep up with this dumb and see how many fans turn the game off. So stupid

— Cy Lin (@CyborgACE)

PLEASE get rid of the “live K-Zone.” It’s distracting and inaccurate. Is it really too much to just let me watch the game?

— Michael Pasternack (@Mersh_Danger)

Thank you for ruining yet another tv viewing experience by making baseball into a video game. Your “journalists” are bad enough

New k zone on ESPN is way off. I understand it’s where it crosses the plate, but the ball doesn’t break THAT much

— Alan Rahe (@AraheIowa)

.‘s K-Zone Live is so bad. Did we not learn from what Fox did with the glowing puck?

And here a tweet that I had to include from former Rockies pitcher Brett Anderson.

Wrigley taking a note from the Oakland Coliseum…when in doubt put some tarps up and pretend it’s not there.
