A 21-year-old Grand Junction woman arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs faces further charges after she allegedly tried to hide prescription pills in the backseat of a patrol car while in custody.
The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office says deputies also found a loaded handgun and an AR-15-style rifle in her vehicle.
Ryah Hollandsworth was booked into the county jail on suspicion of multiple driving offenses, possession of a controlled substance, prohibited use of a weapon and tampering with evidence.
Hollandsworth was arrested Tuesday morning, the sheriff’s office said.
