Two men robbed a Public Service Credit Union in Denver at gunpoint Friday afternoon.

According to the FBI, one of the law enforcement agencies investigating, the incident took place at about 5 p.m at the branch at 6901 E. Evans Ave.

After the robbery, officials said, the men fled the bank in a stolen silver four-door Jeep Cherokee that was recovered a short time later in the 1900 block of South Oneida Street.

The suspects were described by officials as a black male, approximately 6-foot tall and about 200 to 240 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket, black gloves with white on wrists, black baseball hat with white or silver symbol on the front, black mask, blue jeans, and tennis shoes.

The second suspect, officials said, was a male of unknown race, approximately 5-foot-10 to 6-feet in height, and approximately 190 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket, black mask, and dark pants.

Officials said both men were armed and should be considered extremely dangerous.

The Denver Police Department, Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are also part of the investigation.
