
1 Overly blunt. A woman living in the 1700 block of West Crestline Avenue, Littleton, got a black eye from her roommate March 17. She said the roommate shouted “I’m going to take out all my aggression on you.” The attacker turned herself in March 18, saying, “I admit I popped her, but I thought I punched her in the nose.”
2 Jealousy jumping. A woman was attacked and beaten by three women in her backyard in the 5500 block of Greenwood Street, Littleton, on March 14. The victim’s wife said her ex-wife had threatened them before and an unknown number texted her “How many wives you need?” and “Tonight” messages earlier that day. No suspects were found in the area.
3 Up in smoke. The manager of Smoking Caterpillar Hookah Lounge,5501 S. Broadway, Littleton, said three men between 18 and 21 who came in at 11 p.m. March 21 took two hookahs from the store and drove away. The hookahs, water pipes used for smoking, were worth $150 each.
4 Double smash dash. Police were called to Pho 007, 389 W. Littleton Blvd., Littleton, at about 4 a.m. March 27 for a burglary alarm. A thief tried to smash the glass door with a rock but, finding he could not get in, instead broke a window before absconding with cash.
5 Go on, cite me. Police cited a man for panhandling on the median on Broadway north of West County Line Road, Littleton, on April 8. The man said he likes Littleton because the police aren’t as mean as other places and that he would be back because he “had to eat.”
