
1 Man randomly throws rock through windshield. On April 8, a man was arrested outside 7-Eleven,1000 E. Colfax Ave., after he shouted at a man and threw a rock through the windshield of the victim’s car. The suspect began swearing at the occupants of the victim’s car when they came out of the store. Witnesses said the suspect had no reason to throw the rock.
2 Suspects caught jumping between rooftop patios. A woman called Denver police on April 11 after she witnessed a group partying and jumping between rooftops patios in the 2600 block of Blake Street. The group was making a lot of noise.
3 Good samaritan can’t stop street robbery. On April 12, a woman was robbed in the 4700 block of Peoria Street. The suspect demanded the woman empty her bag, which she did, but refused to give over her phone. The suspect punched the woman and took the phone. A vehicle stopped to help and tried to get the woman in the car, but she was pulled out.
4 Suspect breaks into home, bites man. Denver police responded to a burglary and assault on April 12 in the 1500 block of Wolff Street. The suspect allegedly broke into the home by removing a screen. He then punched the homeowner in the face and bit his hand.
5 Brick thrown during family dispute. On April 13, Denver police responded to a family dispute in the 14000 block of East Randolph Place. Police arrived to find a woman kicking a door. Officers later learned the suspect had kicked open a basement window and thrown a brick at the victim during the dispute. (Not on map.)
