
1 Big-time gamer. A man allegedly shoplifted two Xbox One video game systems from Best Buy,11267 Pikes Peak Drive, Parker, on April 6. Described as a Hispanic male, about 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, the suspect left in a black Toyota 4Runner with plates from a different stolen vehicle. The Xboxes are worth about $700.
2 Rides aren’t free. The driver of a Metro Taxi said that just before 10 p.m. April 10, he saw two men try to break into his cab at Target,1950 E. County Line Road, Highlands Ranch. The two men left in a waiting car. The cab window was wedged open, damage the driver must pay for.
3 Firetruck fan. Police searched for a false reporting suspect who allegedly pulled the fire alarm at an apartment complex in the 19200 block of Cottonwood Drive, Parker, on April 8. Witnesses said a teenage boy, with red curly hair and “very small” stature, ran from the alarm area and stood in front of the building taking pictures of evacuating residents and fire- trucks.
4 Sneaking a brew. A 19-year-old man was arrested in the 10700 block of Longs Way, Parker, on April 12 after police were called about suspicious men in a drainage culvert. The 19-year-old had beer, a violation of a restraining order against him.
5 Seeing is thieving. An employee at Colorado Cataract & Laser,9399 Crown Crest Blvd., Parker, said two middle-aged women came in April 6 to ask questions about frames before leaving. Security footage revealed one woman slid a pair of glasses into her jacket pocket during that exchange.
