A man told Boulder police that he was carjacked Tuesday by four men brandishing semi-automatic handguns.

Officials said police responded at about 4:45 p.m. to a parking lot just north of Canyon Boulevard and east of 21st Street. The 19-year-old victim said two white males and two black males lured him into their vehicle.

At that point, officials said, one of the black males began rifling through the victim’s car. When the victim attempted to get out of the suspects’ car, the other three men pointed handguns at him, then used plastic ties to bind his hands.

The victim was able to escape from the vehicle, and ran west on Canyon. He returned several minutes later to find his vehicle was stolen, officials said, adding that the victim sustained minor injuries.

The suspects are described as:

• A white male, approximately 40-year-old, with black/gray hair and stubbly beard, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt.

• Another white male, with short, black hair. Had tattoo of cursive “D” on left side of face with other unknown cursive letters. He was also wearing a white hooded sweatshirt.

• A black male, who goes by “Pat” or “Mike.” Approximately 25 years old, 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, with “thin” shoulder length dreadlocks.

• Another black male, approximately 25 years old, 5-foot-10, 150 pounds.

The stolen vehicle is a pearl colored 2010 Subaru Impreza, model WRX Premium addition with Utah license plates B158ZE. The suspect vehicle is described as an approximately 2011, blue Nissan Armada with unknown license plates.
