Michelle Wilkins, whose unborn child was cut from her womb , delivered cookies Wednesday to nurses in the intensive care unit where she spent several days after the gruesome attack and police officers.

“All beautiful people,” the 26-year-old wrote in a Facebook post that included a photo of her posing with Longmont police. “I’m so blessed to know them!”

Authorities say Wilkins’ unborn child — whom she planned to name Aurora — was removed by 34-year-old Dynel Lane on March 18 in a horrific, pre-meditated attack. Lane , including first-degree unlawful termination of pregnancy.
