In his commercial from November 2014, Pacquiao referenced a potential bout against Floyd Mayweather Jr., overhearing two guys at the gym talking about “the thing that people wanted is finally happening” and gets excited about the fight.
The new commercial has Pacquiao talking with a Foot Locker executive who tells him that “he’s” going to fight him. It becomes meta when Pacquiao finds out that it’s still a Foot Locker commercial.
