LOVELAND — Authorities have released the name of a man who was hit and killed by a train in Loveland.
The Larimer County coroner’s office identified the victim Friday as 65-year-old Galen Kirchmer of Loveland.
His death has been ruled a suicide.
The Coloradoan reported construction workers nearby heard the train blow its whistle as it approached Thursday afternoon.
