A Southern California hot dog chain is making its debut in Colorado next month.
bills itself as a “craft casual hot dog concept.” The store at 12023 E. Arapahoe Road in Centennial (across from South Suburban’s Family Sports Center) will be the chain’s first Colorado store when it opens to the public May 9, the company said in a news release.
The first Dog Haus location opened in Pasadena, Calif., in 2010 and features “100 percent all-beef skinless Haus dogs, Haus sausages and 100 percent natural Black Angus beef burgers on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls.” There is also craft beer and wine.
The chain has plans to move into Arizona, Nevada and Utah.
Local franchisee Jason Bell will offer a free hot dog to each visitor to celebrate the grand opening from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
“I can’t wait to introduce our Centennial neighbors to what is sure to be the best wurst experience of their lives,” Bell said in a statement.
