Deportes Extra now available as an $5 add-on tier on Sling TV.

After for three months, Sling TV on Friday said it finally channels for subscribers of its $20-a-month TV streaming service.

Two new bilingual tiers are available for subscribers who pay an extra $5 each per month. Both tiers include some video-on-demand programs.

Option One: Deportes Extra• Azteca

• beIN Sports en Español

• beIN Sports HD (English)

• Univision

• Univision Deportes

• UniMás

Option Two: Películas & Novelas Extra• Az Corazón

• Cinelatino

• De Película

• De Película Clásico

• Pasiones

• Univision tlnovelas

• Univision

• UniMás

Sling, which was developed by Douglas County’s Dish Network, experimented with this “over the top” service a few years ago via DishWorld, which was last month.

But the two new tiers are not part of Sling International. Sling International is a separate TV service requiring users to pick a base language and build international channels on top of that language. Sling TV requires a base package of about 20 channels that include ESPN, HGTV and Disney. Additional tiers, such as the two new Spanish-language ones, are an extra $5 per month. Customers, however, can subscribe to both Sling offerings using one account.
