Maybe it was the full moon waxing or maybe it was the spring fever of May Day. Something was in the air for this month’s First Friday Art Walk. Even the animals could feel it — begging for beer as they do before a storm.
The street musicians were out and the warm evening encouraged the party to keep going long after the semi-official 9 p.m. end time. I popped into for the first time to see the work of , then revisited the former Cow space and found extension-cord sculpture, a projection that I think was watching me and a whole exhibit of Notorious B.I.G. portraits. From the looks of it, you were all enjoying everything weird and beautiful, too.
