A water main break in southeast Denver on Monday morning is impacting 23 homes and has shut down a stretch of roadway.
The break, near the intersection of East Bayaud Avenue and South Holly Street, is expected to be repaired by Monday evening, according to Travis Thompson, a spokesman for Denver Water.
Thompson said the break happened on a 12-inch cast iron line.
Bayaud is shut down between Holly and Hudson streets as crews repair the break.
