The ticket lottery for the 24th annual Denver Post Cheyenne Frontier Days train begins May 10.
A $325 premier class ticket covers a full day of activities, including a continental breakfast on board the train, the Frontier Days parade through downtown Cheyenne, a catered barbecue at the rodeo grounds, preferred seating at the 119th annual “Daddy of ’em All” rodeo, and a light supper and beverages on the return trip.
The 17-car train, powered by a 1950s-era streamliner locomotive, will leave 44th Street and Brighton Boulevard, near the Denver Coliseum, at 7 a.m. on July 18 and is expected to return about 8:30 p.m. Parking is free at the Coliseum, with free bus transfers in Denver and Cheyenne.
