Two people are dead following a shooting and a fire at a Colorado Springs house southeast of Austin Bluffs Parkway and Nevada Avenue.
Colorado Springs police received a call at 1:32 p.m. from someone saying “his friend called and said he had been shot,” police said.
Colorado Springs firefighters also responded to a reported fire at the same house, 305 Redwood Dr. Firefighters brought the fire under control shortly after arriving, according to the Fire Department’s Twitter account.
