Not on the house, son. On April 28, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic disturbance between a mother and son in the 2000 block of South Union Court in the Littleton area. The son was angry because his mother bought him a six-pack of beer but only gave him two. She locked him outside, so he peed on the side of the house. His mother then called him names and said she wished he hadn’t been born.

Broken window reported a month later. A man called deputies on April 28 to report a window on his car shattered while he was driving near C-470 and U.S. 285 four weeks earlier. The window had already been replaced by the time of report.

Fireworks mistaken for gunshots. On May 1, deputies responded to Foothills Bible Church, 6100 S. Devinney Way in the Littleton area, on a report of shots fired. Officers drew firearms when contacting a suspect, but during a search found only a blowtorch and illegal fireworks. The suspect said he came to the vacant lot because it offered a reduced risk of fire. The fireworks were confiscated.

Woman discovers damaged mailbox. A woman called deputies on May 1 after she discovered someone had dented her mailbox in the 10000 block of West Roxbury Avenue in the Littleton area.

Brick thrown through window. On April 30, deputies responded to the 3000 block of South Depew Street, Columbine (Littleton) where a man was awakened by a loud noise that sounded like a gunshot. When he investigated, he found the broken window and a 3-inch piece of brick near it.
