Police in Fort Collins announced Monday afternoon that a 21-year-old developmentally delayed woman has been found.

“Danielle Lewis has been located and is unharmed and well,” police said in a tweet.

Authorities said they are still working to gather more information on the case.

“She was found safely within Fort Collins,” said Officer Matt Johnson.

Johnson said investigators do not believe there was any criminal element to her disappearance.

Lewis was last spotted on Thursday leaving the area of the 200 block of Linda Lane on her bicycle, authorities say. Authorities said she takes medications for a seizure disorder but did not have them with her when she left, according to a police bulletin.

Authorities on Sunday for Lewis at the Horsetooth Mountain Open Space because of darkness after learning that she may have been in the area on her bike.
