What it does: If you miss messy, ink-stained fingers, get back to the craft room! Secure Outcomes helps employees, green card applicants and others keeps their paws clean via digitized fingerprints. While the bulk of its livescan fingerprint scanners have been sold to law enforcement agencies (Sheridan Police, for one), a growing number of commercial clients are opting in. No, not just because itap spotless. Itap because of the near-zero rejection rates. Equipped with a few patents, including with real-time audio or visual feedback, Secure Outcomes now offers a civilian version (read: cheaper). The LS-Lite is $7,495, nearly half the price of the original.
