AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) — The Thunderbirds precision flying team is practicing for the Air Force Academy graduation flyover later this week.
The squadron is scheduled to rehearse the flyover Tuesday morning at the academy outside Colorado Springs.
Graduation is Thursday in Falcon Stadium. The Thunderbirds will buzz the stadium just as the cadets are officially commissioned as second lieutenants and toss their hats into the air.
Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James will give the commencement address.
