Friday Tig Notaro, a former Denver resident who was once best known for her cameos on “The Sarah Silverman Show,” has over the past couple years become one of stand-up’s hottest names. From Louis C.K. endorsing her fearless, Grammy-nominated album “Live” to her improbably patient and deadpan delivery, Notaro is unlike any other working comic. She has been through a series of life-changing (and, in some cases, life-threatening) events as of late, but the name of her latest tour, “Boyish Girl Interrupted,” is more in line with her gently quizzical, self-deprecating style. Her latest Denver show begins at 8 p.m. on May 29 at the Paramount Theatre, with Denver opener Adam Cayton-Holland. 1621 Glenarm Place. $25. .
