Assistance League Auxiliary of Denver

June 4-6: Hosts its annual “Tea and Treasures at Tablescapes 2015” at the Historic Bosworth House with Victorian teas, boutique shopping, garden and herb plant sale, an amateur table setting competition and tours of the landmark location, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The cost is $18 in advance, $24 at the door. Foothills Animal Shelter

June 6: “Get on the Taggin’ Wagon” is the theme for a pet event offering giveaways, pet licensing (for Jefferson County residents) and affordable vaccinations and microchipping for all pet owners, noon-4 p.m. No appointments required. Hamill House Museum

June 5: Make it a summer tradition and take the family to the historic Hamill House Museum the first Friday of each month June through August for an “Old Fashioned Lawn Party.” Presented by Historic Georgetown Inc., the event gets underway at 5:30 p.m. and includes Victorian lawn games, museum tours, children’s activities, prize raffles, hors doeuvres, wine and beer. Proceeds from admission of $20 per person, $35 per couple and free for children will be used for renovations of the Hamill House including repairing the parlor ceiling. Lakewood Arts Council and the Cat Care Society

June 1-27: Presents “Tales of the Painted Cats,” the fifth annual benefit for the Cat Care Society with painted “cats-terpieces” by local artists. The exhibit is at the LAC Gallery (6731 W. Colfax Ave. in Lakewood) in June and then will travel throughout the summer culminating in an auction Oct. 10.
