Gov. John Hickenlooper Tuesday announced the appointment of Denise M. O’Leary to the Colorado Health Benefits Exchange Board, known as Connect for Health Colorado.

O’Leary, of Cherry Hills Village, will serve as a member with expertise in health care economics and information technology. She replaces Ellen Daehnick of Denver. O’Leary’s term expires July 1, 2017.

The all-volunteer, unpaid board has nine voting members and three advisory, ex officio members. The governor appoints five voting members from both political parties. Senate and House majority and minority leaders each appoint a member.
