Cut Copy is taking a break from creating new music to dabble in a new world where Deadmau5 is considered a contemporary and a world of flying around in a private jet is considered a reality.
Lead vocalist Dan Whitford and guitarist Tim Hoey have tag teamed to do their best impression of Sasha & Digweed and double up behind the decks to continue the party train. The Australian crew will have plenty of time to fill their schedule since bassist Ben Browning is out promoting his solo debut, “Friends of Mine,” with a tour that is scheduled to come to Denver (see dates below).
Cutters can expect the Cut Cupy DJs to explore more of an electronic-tropicalia aesthetic, versus their glossy ’80s beats. Fans can pick up the “Forest Through the Trees” mixtape below and catch the CC DJs at intimate venues starting in July.
