Re: “Seriously? A loose horse shut down I-25 for three hours?,” June 3 letter to the editor.
In response to letter-writer Martin F. Quigley’s complaint that Interstate 25 was tied up for hours last weekend while authorities tried to round up a horse: Would you have rather had traffic backed up for even longer after that animal was hit by a car, possibly injuring or killing the driver(s) involved?
I’m sure it could have been slightly more efficient, but I applaud those authorities for taking a proactive approach and saving the animal’s life.
