1 Way too many shots. A woman was arrested for drunkenly crashing into two cars in the parking lot of Buffalo Wild Wings at 16540 Washington St., Thornton on May 28. Police cited a bartender for serving the woman six shots when she was already drunk.

2 Belligerent under the bridge. Police found a drunken man under a highway bridge who several witnesses say was harassing employees at a nearby bar in the 7800 block of Dahlia Street, Commerce City. The man had been drinking for several hours and yelling at waitresses the entire time. He was arrested.

3 Slight overreaction. A man called police because someone left a dog in a car outside the Texas Roadhouse at 10300 Grant St., Thornton May 30. When police arrived, the windows were cracked and the temperature was 68 degrees, so there was no crime.

4 Threats from minors. A cashier at the Sav-O-Mat at 6355 E. 72nd Ave., Commerce City, called police May 23 because an underage couple tried to buy cigarettes and then threatened to come back and rob the cashier when she refused to sell them.

5 Posting up. The leasing manager of an apartment complex in the 300 block of Russell Boulevard, Thornton, called police because a homeless man had been hanging out on the property all day May 27. He was cited.

6 Man shoots dog. A man who lives in the 10900 block of Glencoe Place, Thornton, shot and killed his neighbor’s pit bull when it charged at him May 26 . The dog owner was cited for letting her dog off the property, and police determined the man defended himself.
