Getting your player ready...

Through Sunday: Like any long-running community festival, this year’s 38th annual Parker Days Festival is primarily about three things: live music, food and drink, and family activities. There are plenty of details in between — like the 250 vendors, the 150,000 expected attendees, and the ways in which Parker Days has embraced certain niches (a beer mixology area, anyone?). Colorful street performers, carnival rides, outdoor games, wild foods (think rabbit tamales, deep-fried TV dinners and alcoholic cupcakes) and plenty of craft brews are all on tap. Through June 14 in downtown Parker along Main Street. Free admission. 303-841-4268 ext. 103 or .
