Crazy Mountain Brewing Company was named a “Colorado Company to Watch” by the state Office of Economic Development and International Trade and the Colorado Workforce Development Council on June 5.
The 5-year-old Edwards brewery was one of 50 second-stage companies honored for their growth, job creation and stimulus of the state’s economy.
“We are extremely excited to continue on with our role acting as an economic stimulus for the state by creating as many new jobs as we can while priding ourselves in creating world-class beer,” Crazy Mountain CEO Kevin Selvy said in a statement.
Crazy Mountain Brewing was launched by Kevin and Marisa Selvy in a 1,000-square-foot warehouse. It has since expanded three times to employ more than 33 people, produce more than 20,000 barrels a year and distribute beer in 19 states and five countries.
The Colorado Companies to Watch program was founded in 2009 by the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade in conjunction with the Edward Lowe Foundation and community partners.
